Image,
visual appeal and presentation - key words and
key aspirations in this modern and competitive
world. Words which describe the benefits offered
by quality flags and banners, and aspirations
which can be realized by their professional and
tasteful display. To highlight your location,
reinforce your corporate identity, or spread your
message - PanHandling's flags and banners offer
unsurpassed visual appeal and value in a modern
yet timeless way.
DYE SCREEN
PRINTED
The majority
of our flags and banners are manufactured using
this sophisticated and specialized screen printing
process. Unlike regular screen printing, disperse
dyes (not inks) are printed then baked into the
fabric to give a soft, supple and lightweight
product of the highest quality. Designs and colours
can almost always be accurately reproduced, which
is especially important when working with corporate
logos. The main factors affecting pricing are
order quantity and the number of colours involved.
Dye screen printing is usually cost effective
for quantities of 5 or more, with unit prices
reducing as quantities increase and for subsequent
repeat orders.
FULLY SEWN
For one
- off flags where custom printing is not a suitable
option, or if the traditional look is preferred,
this method is the answer. Our skilled machinists
appliqué your design onto fabric, using our standard
range of pre - dyed fabrics. You can see the skill
which goes into making fully sewn flags.

FABRICS
PanHandling
can offer the choice of two fabrics - polyknit
and Polybunting - both made to demanding specification
especially for flag and banner manufacture.
POLYKNIT
Polyknit
is a finely knitted polyester fabric with a high
surface sheen, used for printed flags, and especially
banners, suitable for both indoor and outdoor
display..... Print quality on Polyknit is sharp
and colourful, and the light weight of the fabric
allows it to fly in the lightest breezes.....
Knitted polyester has been developed and improved
over many years and is renowned as the best available.
POLYBUNTING
Polybunting
is a coarser woven fabric manufactured from spun
yarn, and is particularly suitable for flags flown
continuously, or sited in very windy locations.....
While slightly more expensive than Polyknit, Polybunting
can often prove to be the most economical choice
in the long run, when durability is paramount.
FINISHING
Panhandling
has several well established options for finishing
banners, depending on their intended use. Street
banners have special heat sealed edges for durability
.Interior banners are hemmed, often with an additional
backing layer of fabric to enhance appearance.....
We will be happy to recommend the best finishing
for your specific banner requirements.
